The Inn at Loon Lake ~ An Adirondack Bed & Breakfast ~ The Inn at Loon Lake is a Bed & Breakfast located in a remote part of the Adirondack Park, in the historic hamlet of Loon Lake, in upstate New York. Follow route 3 west from Plattsburgh, or east from Saranac Lake, head north on route 26 (formerly route 99) for three miles, and you will find us located between the 10th and 18th greens of the picturesque Loon Lake Golf Course.
Loon Lake today is a small, quiet hamlet of well-kept houses and friendly neighbors. The winter population is 20 - 25 people! The hamlet is set in the heart of the Adirondacks, on a clear lake, surrounded by trees and mountains. Such a setting provides the ideal backdrop for a country inn, and all the activities that such a location has to offer. Besides golfing on the 18 hole Loon Lake Golf Course (The oldest course in the Adirondacks - celebrating 100 years in 1995), the summer brings swimming, hiking, biking, canoeing, fishing, kayaking and other outdoor recreation.
Have your first cup of coffee in the morning on the porch, breath the cool fresh mountain air and discover why they call this paradise. the fall! The views of the mountains and the colors of the trees cannot be described.
Leaf-peeping is as easy as a walk through the woods on the many trails
that surround us, relaxing on the two story wrap-around porch or just looking out
the windows of your room. 
Then
the winter brings snow, several feet deep. We are near Lake Placid and
Whiteface Mountain, twice host of the Winter Olympics, so we are minutes
from downhill skiing. You can go snowmobiling, snowshoeing, tobogganing, or
cross-country skiing, right at our doorstep, then warm up in front of the
fireplace on your return. 
The Inn at Loon Lake was completely restored in 1992.
We've landscaped the grounds with lush perennial gardens (over 200
varieties of hostas!), a koi pond and water fall. The
